Funding the planning work
Are resources in place to fund the change-of-use/planning work on the land investment site?
When buying land for future development, either for self-build or from a UK land investment provider, there should be sufficient resources to take the investment land site through the planning framework
If you plan to buy land for a self-build UK land investment project, you must have a contingency fund. Major residential land investment projects which involve change-of-use work can cost hundreds of thousands of pounds.
